Toni’s Kitchen Hosts Dinner for Federal Workers Affected by Government Shutdown

So many of our neighbors who work for the federal government gathered last week at Toni’s Kitchen to meet with friends and share the support of the community during the government shutdown. Employees from EPA, the Dept. of the Interior, TSA and more took part in a great evening of fellowship. Thank you to Carsen Mata for her visionary leadership and energy. Assemblyman Thomas Giblin, Montclair Councilwoman Renee Baskerville, Cedar Grove Councilman Harry Kumburis, and Montclair Councilman Robert Russo showed their support along with Mundo Vegan, Ruthie’s BBQ, Gelotti of Montclair, Well Pet Animal Hospital, Jana’s Jammy, Kai Yang Montclair, Bob and Rhonda Silver, the Study Hall Gang and the many, many volunteers and donors who dropped off pet food, fresh produce, fresh chicken, canned goods and supportive wishes.
