Special Screening of New Film “The #1 Bus Chronicles” to Benefit Toni’s Kitchen on February 11

On Wednesday, February 11, a special screening of the new film "The #1 Bus Chronicles" will take place at The Clairidge Theater in Montclair. A portion of the ticket revenue from this special screening will go to Toni's Kitchen.

The film is directed by Joel Katz and will be presented by Montclair Film. "The #1 Bus Chronicles" uses a small sociological microcosm–a bus stop on an industrial highway in New Jersey–to intimately portray some of the most marginalized lives in America today: the 'working poor', the recently incarcerated, and immigration asylum seekers. In startlingly intimate encounters, strangers share hopes and dreams as well as stories of resiliency, suffering and loss. Many are in states of transition, struggle, or waiting for change.

Director Joel Katz, who is a volunteer at Toni's Kitchen, will participate in a Q&A session following the screening of the film.

The Clairidge Theater is located at 486 Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair. The screening begins at 7:00 pm.
