“Music Against Hunger” Fundraiser for Toni’s Kitchen

On April 19 at Tierney's Tavern in Montclair, local musicians presented the third annual "Music Against Hunger" fundraiser for Toni's Kitchen. The event, organized by local musician Doug Hall, featured other bands and musicians from our area, all donating their time for a great cause. The fundraiser raised just under $4,000 for Toni's Kitchen.

"The third annual Music Against Hunger benefit concert for Toni's Kitchen was tons of fun," said Doug Hall. "Tierney's Tavern was packed and rocking! We're hoping to do it again next year."

About 150 people attended over the course of the 3 1/2 hour concert. There was lots of dancing and singing along to the music from the bands who played: "Doug Hall & Friends," "Big Mamou," "The Reticents," and "Meg Patrick & LoveBomb."
