Toni’s Kitchen Chili Cook-off A Tasty Success!

Local chefs were really cooking for a great cause at the Toni's Kitchen Chili Cook-off on March 30 at Montclair Brewery. Chefs, tasters and volunteers all took part in this fun event to raise funds and awareness for Toni's Kitchen.

There were winners in four separate categories:

Winner in the Best Meat Chili category was Eileen Maher. In the Best Vegetarian Chili category, the winner was Thomas Beneditksson. The Best Alternative Chili winner was the Mountainside Medical Center Team. And the Best Most Heat Chili category winner was Bobbie Polton, who also won the Taster's Choice award!

The Best Overall winner was the Mountainside Medical Center Team!

The biggest winners, though, were the local people in need in our community, who will benefit from the funds raised and the increased awareness of Toni's Kitchen's work to ensure that all of hour neighbors have reliabel access to healthy food.
