Family Meal Program in Partnership with Montclair Community Farms and YMCA of Montclair

Toni’s Kitchen has started a new Family Meal Program in partnership with Montclair Community Farms and the YMCA of Montclair.

Every week, new recipes are developed by Montclair Community Farms and the recipe, along with items needed to make the meal, are available free of charge at the MCF Farm Stand and Toni's Kitchen Food Truck set up outside the Geyer Family Y.

Families are excited to receive the bags weekly, and the word is spreading to their friends, family and neighbors.  Leftover food is also being delivered to the seniors at Montclair First House.

We invite the community to stop by on Wednesday's from 2:30-3:30 p.m. and "shop" for a meal to share at home with their family! Through this program, our goal is to encourage children and families to explore healthy cooking together.

Recipes and grocery items are available to all, at no cost. No proof of residency required.

"I wanted to tell you all that I am so glad I discovered this Wednesday program. This is the second week I tried it and it was a lovely way to introduce new, fresh foods/recipes to my family.

It also feels like less stress knowing I don’t have to figure out a dinner plan that night and is fun and exciting to see what’s “on the menu”.
I also have been bringing a bag to my friend who is on chemo and her family has really enjoyed and appreciated it too!
Please thank all of your partners as well!
I also wanted to say the young men who have been working the stand have been incredibly kind and helpful.
Thank you so much!"
