“Hope Over Fate” – A Conversation about Ending Global Poverty and Local Food Insecurity” at Temple Ner Tamid on January 17

On January 17, our friends at Temple Ner Tamid are hosting a conversation on global poverty and local food insecurity. The event will include Scott Macmillan, an author and associate of Fazle Hasan Abed, the founder of the anti-poverty program Bangladesh Rehabilitation Assistance Committee (BRAC) and Anne Mernin, Executive Director of Toni's Kitchen.

The convseration will take place at Temple Ner Tamid at 936 Broad Street, in Bloomfield, starting at 7:30 pm. Admission is free. A donation of $10 or non-perishable food to Toni's Kitchen would be appreciated.
